Reiki
Reiki is a natural way of enabling the body and mind to enter a deep relaxed state that promotes calmness, reduces anxiety and instills a sense of wellbeing. People who have experiences Reiki often describe as like waking refreshed and worry free from a deep sleep.
Why Reiki?
Reiki offers an opportunity to switch-off from the hustle and bustle of the modern world:
* to let go of your day-to-day stresses and breath easy,
* to let your mind clear and think clearly,
* to awaken refreshed as though from a deep sleep.

Some people just enjoy the experience of relaxing on a comfortable massage bed, in a still environment with music gently playing in the background.
How does it work?
The simplicity of Reiki is one of the things that makes it so relaxing; you only need to lay on the massage bed and close your eyes. No need to remove clothes, no messy oils and only the lightest of touches if any.

During a treatment you may feel warmth, tingling and bright colours. Every person's experience is unique.

After a Reiki session you will be offered water or herbal tea and something sweet as you may feel a bit dehydrated.

Usui Reiki or (Usui Shiki Ryoho) was founded by Dr Mikao Usui in c1920; his discovery of Reiki followed years of research into healing systems described in sanskrit text and finally a 21 day meditation on Kurama where Dr Usui gleaned how to use the healing system described in the texts.
