ABOUT US

Welcome to Moonlight Healing, I launched my Reiki Studio in October 2018 to allow people from all walks of life access to natural healing.  I was particularly concerned that people working full time or with care responsibilities did not have the opportunity to benefit from therapies such as Reiki and Indian Head Massage.

To address this I founded Moonlight Healing on the principles of flexible opening times, ease of access and affordable to all.

My Experience

I have been using Reiki since 2010 to help people in my local community from general stress, headaches or just needing an opportunity to switch off from the modern world through detailed consultations and scanning the client's aura to find areas that needed Reiki.  Since 2015 I have also been qualified as a Reiki Master Teacher which included improved techniques for my sessions.  In 2019 I qualified as a Indian Head Massage therapist and became a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT).  I have used Indian Head Massage with oils to help with muscle tension, headaches, promote mobility for Arthritis and reduce eye strain.

My Reiki Lineage

All Reiki Practitioners need to be able to show there lineage back to the founder Dr Usui.

 

As you can see from my lineage I have two lines back to Dr Usui this is because I was attuned to Reiki by three Reiki Masters; in either case I am 10 generations down.  As Reiki evolves a lineage helps to see which Masters taught their students to see how different branches of Reiki develop.  The Reiki I was taught was entirely

Sept 2010 - Usui Reiki Level 1 - trained and attuned at Diversity Matters by Dawn Johnston-Brown and Helen Walker

Jan 2011 - Usui Reiki Level 2 - trained and attuned at Diversity Matters by Dawn Johnston-Brown and Helen Walker

Jan 2015 - Usui Master Teacher Combined - Level 3 - trained and attuned at Unity Studios by Deva Sevanti

Nov 2017 - Emergency First Aid at Work (valid until Nov 2020) - Trained by St John's Ambulance - Hollingbury Centre, Brighton

Oct 2018 - Member of the Reiki Federation

Oct 2019 - Indian Head Massage Level 3 - trained at Brighton Holistics and accredited by the Federation of Holistic Therapists

Nov 2019 - Member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (for Indian Head Massage only)

May 2020 - Covid-19 Awareness for Therapists - Trained at Brighton Holistics

 

In addition to the above formal qualifications and member I also attend Reiki Shares and Professional Body Meetings to share good practice with other professionals and enhance my skills as a Reiki Practitioner.
